This audit debate will discuss the intriguing realm of software audits in the context of public cloud services, with a special focus on Software as a Service (SaaS). The session aims to dissect the original announcement by many software providers when, years ago, the transition from on premise software to subscription models started. Is this really happening: Will there be no more audits in the future? And if they will take place: How will they look like? Who will provide and have access to the data, especially if the entire infrastructure is managed by the vendor?
