Alvaro is the Technology Partners and Software Asset Management Director at JTI, where he leads the overall vendor management framework, developing strategies for supplier consolidation and cost optimization. He is responsible for building strategic relationships with key IT suppliers, ensuring vendor performance, and overseeing high-value global IT contracts. Additionally, he drives JTI’s Software Asset Management strategy, defining roadmaps, governance, and compliance processes while managing enterprise-wide software audits. Prior to his current role, Alvaro held key positions in software asset management, vendor management, and IT procurement at JTI, Deloitte, Roche, and Accenture. With over two decades of experience, he has successfully led global IT contract negotiations, SAM implementations, and IT infrastructure projects across multiple industries.
