David is an experienced procurement and IT sourcing professional, currently leading Global ICT Sourcing and Category Management at Etex. In this role, he is responsible for strategic IT procurement, vendor management, and optimizing sourcing strategies across the Etex Group. His expertise spans contract negotiations, category management, and aligning IT procurement with business objectives. Before joining Etex, David held several leadership roles at SWIFT, including Head of Procurement, where he managed global sourcing and strategic contract negotiations across multiple cost categories. He also served as Manager for Sibos and Technology, overseeing IT services for major events, and as Head of R&D for SWIFT Training, where he led product development and stakeholder relations. Earlier in his career, David worked as a Project Manager for SAP implementations and held various IT procurement and business analysis roles, gaining deep expertise in enterprise solutions and procurement optimization.
